Lon Schiffbauer is an Associate Professor of Business Management at Salt Lake Community College. He is also a business strategy consultant dedicated to helping companies develop thriving organizational cultures. He holds an MBA and a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. For his dissertation, Lon studied the effects of the pursuit of self-esteem on an employee's ability to thrive in the workplace. From 2014 to 2015, Lon served as Area Chair of the College of Organizational Behavior at the University of Phoenix. In 2018 he was the Salt Lake Community College Distinguished Faculty Lecturer and keynote speaker at the college's 2018 Convocation. Lon was also the keynote speaker at the 2018 Colleges and Universities Professional Associations for Human Resources Conference and the Utah Municipal Recorders Association 2018 Conference.
In addition to his academic and consulting background, Lon has over 25 years of experience working for FedEx, Intel, and eBay, and various small to mid-sized companies in Salt Lake City and around the world. Lon is SPHR certified with the Society for Human. His experience brings Twistlab Marketing, Salt Lake City, to the next level.
